How Our Certification Program Works!
The Certification program consists of (2) two parts:
Part I – FAD Writing Video Presentation - You will review the detailed Overview of the Federal Government FAD Writing Requirements, Regulatory Authority, Model FAD, etc.
Part II - Mock FAD Writing Assignment including Reference Materials- You will be provided with all the writing materials needed to complete your Mock FAD writing assignment such as the report of investigation and access to a specially designed pre-recorded coaching webinar session where we will coach you through completing Part 2 the Mock Assignment and discuss an exercise using our proprietary FAD outline that will help you develop your FAD writing skills.
Due to the technical nature of FAD writing we added a pre-recorded webinar coaching session where we addressed the nuances of FAD writing with other potential FAD writers. The outline that we use during the session is based upon a format commonly used for most Final Agency Decisions; although, as we discuss during the session, FADs are written in many formats and Agencies may have a specific format for you to follow.
We believe that our FAD course will equip you to have the basic understanding of the process so that you can move forward with your career as a FAD writer and continue to build expertise as a FAD writer as you continue developing your practical experience. Prerequisite Training – Because this is an advanced EEO course, familiarity with legal terminology and theories and ability to pay close attention to detail in writing is very helpful.
